Tips For Chosing The Perfect Your Cap And Gown

Cap And Gown

When you graduate for high school or college, you are going to be wearing a cap and gown. This isn’t always true, as it depends on where you to go school. If you go to a business or trade school, they may not have the conventional cap and gown graduation, but most traditional colleges will. Wearing a cap and gown often signifies to the wearer that a new day is coming, and that all of their hard work has come to fruition. It’s a great feeling to graduate, and when it happens, you may want to save your cap and gown as a reminder of your special day.

Depending on where you go to school, you may have to buy your own cap and gown. If you do want to save them to remind you of your day, this will be the way to go anyway. My high school had gowns we could wear, but we did have to buy our own cap. I honestly don’t even know where my cap went, but I do have the tassel lying around here somewhere. If you do have to buy your own cap and gown, your school or college will be able to tell you where to go, or they may have a deal with a supplier already. Either way, there are a few things to consider.

Make sure you get the right length when buying your cap and gown. You obviously don’t want something too long or you will trip, but you also don’t want something that is too short or you won’t match the rest of your fellow graduates. You also want to make sure you get the right color. Some colors are easier than others, but because there are so many different shades of each color, it is easy to get the wrong one. Your school may give you a color name or even a color number you should use when you order your cap and gown.

Once you have worn your cap and gown, you can do a few things to preserve it if you want to save it. You should always have it cleaned after you have worn it. Most cap and gowns will require dry cleaning, but not all of them. You can have them preserved much like you would have a wedding dress preserved, and you can save it forever this way. In the years to come, your cap and gown may remind you of happy times, or at the very least, simpler times when the world wasn’t so complicated. If you preserve your cap and gown, you will be glad you did years down the road.
