It began with the executive management team, sales and marketing staff, and product design group leasing a 42,000 square foot space which today, has expanded to a mid-sized, worldwide company. Simplicity became a successful business nearly instantly, and not long after the Company was founded, in 1931 the production of and distribution operations were relocated to a new location in Niles, Michigan. These include: Simplicity, It’s So Easy and New Look, as well as having a special agreement with the company Burda.
